Getting To The Bottom Of Things.... with Mum and Aunty Roberta

My 2 shy Malaysian maids...

Ange and Chevonne have known other since way back in lower Primary school and they stayed besties ever since. In fact they are Godmum to each others' kids. As luck would have it, they discovered that they are, in fact related.... and we have the papers to prove it.
Looking through the papers, I can trace my family history way back to a generation before 1838, where a Mounsieur Bouche married Madame Bouche.... and so the story unfolds......

Thank you Oma for the durian cake! It was a surprise for me! Love it... ate a lot of it too!

Fruit flan.... succulent!

Another year has passed and we see our kids grow up so quickly! Last year, both Iesha and Danny celebrated their birthdays together as well. Here's wishing them good health and a happy year ahead.

Iesha Turns 2!

Thank you Andrew for the sambal! It was delish!

It was a very very busy start to the day, first with the Baptism, then followed by lunch with the Godparents and then dinner party. Nasi lemak..... mmmmm .... always a good choice...

Iesha's Baptism

There she is, casually strolling into Church...

Saying her prayers on bended knee, genuflecting.......

Getting dad onto his knees too.....

Heck... let's ALL get up there.....

OK.. Father Robert, now you come down from there....

And place the font... HERE.....

Now the ceremony begins....

With Godpa and Godma on the right...

Godma reading.....

Father Robert poured water over my head three times! It was fun, so I decided to have a bit of water play.......

It was a short but meaningful service. We thank our Lord for the wonderful day, blessed by Father Robert, who drove all the way from Carlisle. I for one miss him very much.
