I don't know why but for some odd reason unbeknownst to me or the universe, I seem to be drawn to 4.44pm. I'd unconsciously look at the time and it'd be 4.44pm. I'd be doing something, minding my own business and then I'd have the urge to look at the time... and there it would be.... 4.44pm. Why?

How Did YOU Spend Mother's Day?

Let me see, I spent my first 8 hours of Mother's Day at work, then 30mins with my wonderful sister and her family, then 2 hours in Church, and then a further hour at a local shop to get some groceries. Finally, I am home, to my family, at 11am. I was told to march into the shower while hubby and Bryan got lunch ready.... So I did. These was waiting for me at the table as I emerged from my room....

PRESENTS! I was famished by now.... Too late for breakfast, too early for lunch, I had my favourite Mother's Day brunch instead with........

Yup! My (and the kids') favourite! KFC also gave me 2 Mother's Day presents.... 2 magazines. At that point, however eager I was to unwrap the pressies, presents could wait.... I was THAT hungry.

Thank you my 2 angels! Note: The pink phallic-shaped item there is an LED flashlight and it's not what you think it is.... a lipstick case.

 

With my tummy filled and my heart full, the next 4 hours were spent in a dreamless sleep. By the time I knew it, it was 5pm already and then to bed again at 9pm.

 

That's a day in my life, working night duties on a weekend... How did you spend your Mother's Day?
