Sam and Angie's Wedding Part 1
Both mom and Angie didn't sleep well the night before the wedding. For mom, it was because she was both nervous and excited... and for Angie, well, it was because it was really cold sleeping in mom's room because mom left the room window opened throughout the night. Despite the lack of sleep, Angie managed to haul herself up at about 6am to quickly shower and sensibly ate a good breakfast... 2 eggs and 2 slices of toast. Good for her... I remember I couldn't eat a bite the day of my wedding.
I slept pretty early as well last night..... at 2am! Angie realised she didn't have a guest book, right about after dinner last night and I told her not to worry, cos I'll figure something out.... and I did..... I made it, with Arne helping me with the cutting...
Anyway, we waited for the make-up artist to arrive at 7am and not surprisingly, she lost her way. Many have lost their way finding our home, I kid you not. Lucky Lady had the best Sat Nav in the world.... a real time-human-interactive GPS aka me.
And then, the magic began... first she laid out her ware..... all 85 tonnes of it. Poor Angie thought she needed all that just to make her pretty!

Angie listening intently what the makeup lady had to say...
......but had some suggestions of her own....

What A Way To Start The Day!
\ Can you imagine this........ my sister has never had a manicure done before... so today was a treat. First we started with one and then a pedicure. It's been years since I had my nails done so I booked us an appointment for today, early in the morning. Gotta get ready for her wedding this weekend ma, haimai? Anyway, technology has changed... manicure isn't like how it used to be! Here's a pic of me having those fakies pasted at my fingertips.
Look, plasma screens at my fingertips! If... and only IF I had nails like these, I would be losing a lot fun things in life..... picking my nose, my ears .... and wiping my bee-hind will be a slow and gentle process...
Nah, I'm not that adventurous... I had them trimmed short with rounded tips.
Voila! Short and hopefully, easy to maintain.
I chose a shiny, pinkish varnish and after 2 coats, the nails were perfection.
Next, a nice soak for my tired feet. I have awful "old lady" feet.
Angel took a seat next to mine. These massage chairs should be called "chak kuat" chairs.. The rollers were so powerful I could feel them assaulting my kidneys, my butt and back. I tried to explain to the lady that that chair was trying to kill me but she sprechen virtually no Englisch so in desperation, I pointed at my back and said "no meat"... She then exclaimed "ah! No meat! Ok Ok!" and brought me a towel to pad my back.. Fat load of good that did.
After the nice and warm soak, we had our gunk and daki all scraped out. I think I felt about a pound lighter after that. Getting my cuticles and nails clipped...

Taking 5 after visiting almost 20 houses.
You'd think my kids were high on sugar that night but nope, they weren't. After dark, they showered, and went straight to bed, tired....... after putting their teeth on their bedside table.

Caitlyn's 9th Birthday ... Part 3
I made up quite a few games which the kids enjoyed. Man! The screams were defeaning! At one point, it was so noisy that it reduced Caitlyn to tears! It didn't bother Bryan at all... which was surprising! He had his bit of fun wrestling crocs.... Here is little Randall breakdancing...
Not enough blind folds? Try pillow cases....
Lucky last but not least, Barbara @ Ah Bai, you did a great job with the cooking, the photo taking the PR-ing.... you're a gem! Tomorrow steamboat @ my place to celebrate yor recent victory, eh?
