We're Mooooooooooooooooooooooooooooving............. again!

After 14 months and 1 week, we are ready to move into our new home at Harrisdale. These few days, Derrick & I are busy packing stuff up and carting stuff to the new house. Today the weather has been good, no rain, and I think it'll stay the same for the next couple of days. Derrick rented a ute from Bunnings and Sam helped today despite being sick and fasting! You won't be able to believe it.... we have so much rubbish... and when I say "rubbish", I really do mean it. I have hoarded so many things i.e. plastic containers of various shapes and sizes... finally, today, I packed them up to give them to Bryan's class teacher.

Winter officially ends in 6 days! Today has been rather cool despite it being sunny. Good skies for moving.
Enough dilly-dallying... back to packing now.

Ah.... Memories..........................

Finally, the carpet’s up, the painting’s done and today will be all about cleaning up the whole house… by myself…. Derrick will be busy doing the skirting around the house. Sigh.. there goes my cleaning.

I spent a good few hours packing stuff into boxes last night and you know what I found sitting in my garage? All my memorabilia! My collections have been sitting in the garage for goodness knows how long! I was suddenly taken back to the good ol’ days. I think I must have wasted 2 hours just looking through them and reminiscing…..

One of my favourite collections is my music boxes. These I will give them to Caitlyn, to decorate her new room. I even found my stash of Little Twin Stars cards which I made for “trading” with my friends!

If you love to have a little moment of escapism or look for collector’s items or memorabilia, do check out this website from the US called Shopwiki. From movie memorabilia to trading cards, these awesome stuff will guarantee to take you back memory lane! Cigar aficionados, check out the grand range of stuff there for you to (you know you want to, Jacqui! I know you'll be drooling checking out Shopwiki!) I know Bryan will ABSOLUTELY love the fossils… This boy would turn his new room into a Dinosaur museum if he could….

Well, off to more packing and more reminiscing!
