Yo Yo Heave Ho!
This picture pretty much summarises it. Worse thing is, I've got 10 consecutive working days.... 4 down, 6 to go. DOn't get me wrong, I love my work. It's my body who's not playing nice at the moment. Head feels a little fuzzy at times. I think I'm becoming a wuss. I hardly fall sick, so every little symptom is getting on my nerves now. Still not happy.

Meet Mantee The Mantis
Suffice it to say, Bryan was jumping with glee and hopping with excitement when he spotted Legs Eleven x 2 right outside our door. Guess who caught it? ME! Bryan had a blast talking to it, feeding it and as the sun set into the west, with a heavy heart, he let it go free....... Until we meet again, Mantee!

Koff! Koff! Sung to Robert Palmer's "Addicted to Love"
The lights are off,
But I'm at home,
My mind is not my own.
My pores sweat,
My body aches,
Another pill, is what it takes.
I can't sleep (no)
I can't eat
There's no doubt,
I'm in deep.
My throat is tight,
I can't breathe,
Another chill,
THat I don't need!
I'd like to go on but the damn glare from the PC is hurting my eyes.... Yup.... My first cough and cold in 5 years.... I think. Not happy, not happy at all...

Post Confirmation Mass Celebration
Part of Caitlyn's lunch.... she had all of these... and more! |
The general consensus were "We wanna go to Carousel!" after Mass. So off to Carousel we did indeed. I don't mind going there on Sundays because it's never crowded. Then again, with Christmas looming, I'm guessing it will get a little bit more hectic coming Sundays leading to the pocket-emptying festive day.
Caitlyn got to choose where we went to eat, of course and she chose "where else". She loves Japanese cuisine. Bryan's picked up on it too.... he's widen his Japanese food repertoire... it now includes.... wait for it.... prawn tempura. Another cholesterol load. Note to self: Time to get him a stationary
bike. Seriously.....
Guess who enjoyed her lunch too? |
After a full lunch, Caitlyn bugged me to go to a 5D little make-shift theatre near the Atrium. While she was jumping up and down with excitement, I'm thinking "hurlsville!" but she PROMISED she wouldn't so she rounded up Bryan and there went $16 worth of 10 minutes of "walking" through the jungle sans the walking bit. They came out of that dark room with glasses in hand, going "it was AWESOME! There were bubbles in our faces!"...... Was smell the other dimenstion I wonder?
I get to spy on what they were doing from the outside |
A day of celebration is not complete without ice cream! Grandma's enjoying hers too.
Here she is picking her Xmas present. Takes away the guess work for me.

2 Pieces of History
My aunt in Brisbane sewed these 2 Cheong sams for my mom half a century ago. I found them lurking in my closet yesterday and I put them on.... A bit tight at the hips (where else) but I managed to put stuff my flab in. Excuse the blurriness..... Bryan took them. He's not exactly a very patient photographer. So you can deduce that I AM like my mom....... only thing I have longer hair and more flab....

Wish me love a wishing well to kiss and tell
Quick! Who sang that song?
Sista Barbs and I were mucking around some poor sod's wishing well while the restaurant staff was busy getting the place ready for a wedding dinner for the next evening. The photog was very accomodating and very friendly.... too bad I didn't catch his name. Food was nice. Will defo go there again before the year ends.
