The Awesome Foursome Strike Again!

The funny thing about us girls is that when we're  up to our chin with daily crap we face at the workplace, we need to get together to de-stress.... and I mean DE-STRESS with a capital 'D'. You can't imagine the words that fly out of our mouths. A 3-hour solid no-holds- barred whingeing. Like an aftermath of laxative ingestion, we all leave feeling extremely satisfied.... partly because of the sumptuous food, the laughter, the giggles, the goss, the eye candies..... LOTS of eye candies...

Unfortunately, Sista Bams and Sista Kath were down with a bug and were rather unwell but that didn't stop us from getting together again!

Till the next rendezvous..... let the stress accumulate!

Nothing like washing dinner down with a nice cuppa tea!

Diorama Drama

Bryan made all these all by himself at school. Now it's just sitting in the living room, cluttering the house. To throw or not to throw out, is the question....

2013 Father's Day ~ 1st September 2013

Everyone lazed in bed till almost 11am. I must admit, I only have 1 Sunday a month to sleep in, even sometimes none at all, so I do take advantage of it.

Breakfast and presents all laid out nicely.

Like a big kid, playing with his toys at the dining table. Tsk! Tsk!

"Mummy, that's rude... the man has his hand on the butt". O my observant son.....

The front cover of the card Bryan made. "Happy Faters Day". Apparently that's how it's spelt.... in sharkanese language.

"My father, you and I have been like ogres yesterday. I want to .... apoligise. You accept my apoligies? Good! From Bryan" (The picture of Derrick on an exercise bike)
A bit of history: The 2 of them were squabbling the day before and I sorted them out...The old one behaved like a kid and the young one couldn't take it and shouted back, this went on for a few minutes until I stepped in and then the both shut-up. Sometimes it feels as though I have 3 kids. HONESTLY!

The back cover with a symbol of Gru.

That's the lot.... and guess who gave him the Lotto ticket?

BRYAN chose this card!

A relaxing day at home...... Actually the reason was because everywhere we wanted to go were all booked solid! Note to self: book early for next year. Oh well.... back to my assignments....

The ABC or Ais Kacang committee

The entertainment committee...... Jogeting away.....

And not forgetting the fathers....

Last night was a night I will not forget. I've been in Australia for so many years and this is my first time celebrating Hari Merdeka. Looking at the above picture reminds me this, "Eh macha, you want to makan or tapau?".... Indian, Malay, Chinese and 1 common language all rolled into one. Only we Malaysians and Singaporeans can understand this. Where else in the world can you find 1 sentence made up of 3 lingos?

Thank you so much Sharmini and Zeeshan for hosting this sumptuous celebration....... I think Deepavali coming up soon, no?
