Thank you all for your kind words in my Facebook posts about my recent aches and pains. Turns out, due to my many years of working as a nurse, I've sustained wears and tears in my L4/5 and L5/S1. X Rays has proven that 1) I'm not 18 anymore, 2) I'm not 21 anymore and 3) I'm not even 18+21 anymore.
I'll be back to see the GP for a follow-up appointment and then work out what will happen to me for the rest of this week and the next. I don't know why but I do feel very guilty taking sick leave. I've NEVER been off work this long before ..... and I'm not even 'sick'!
Some of my dear friends suggest that I need to start listening to my body. I need to take their advise.... SERIOUSLY!
