Dear Emily was the photographer and she is missing in these pictures. So, here's one specially of her.
After many non-attendance for luncheons, I finally caught a break and was able to attend my first evening do with the Tai Tais. I am truly grateful to the organisers of this dinner. It's a mammoth task trying to get this get-together to happen. But luck was on our side, the stars, the moon and the asteroids aligned and we had a blast of a time.
10 individuals, 10 families, 10 lives to sort out in order to get these 10 Tai Tais to wind out and have some much awaited fun boosted with such a gastronomical experience.
The venue? Modo Mio
The food were served on platters, more than plates. Very impressive.
A sumptuous dinner is never complete without..........
Mouth-watering desserts.... The mango sorbet was really heavenly.... and the tiramisu was absolutely gorgeous!
Hours just flew past and before we knew it, it was almost midnight and we trotted, all in 3-inch heels (and some, above), to the Crown Metropole atrium for some paparazzi fun.
Yes, mine.
The next few photos are of royalty...
Queen Alicia, my God Daughter |
Queen Ratna |
Queen Philina |
Queen Wendy |
Queen Phek Hia
Queen Nora
And Queen Mee
Not a flattering picture at all, taken by a very smooth talking Crown employee...
And some random pictures taken during the night.
