Bought Caitlyn a little compact digital Canon Camera and she now takes it wherever she goes. Not to bad for her first couple of shots.... She sure caught Bryan's cheeky grin and mummy's luggage under the eyes.....

No Longer A White Elephant

The family minus Bryan still loves a nice hot bowl of soup during wintery nights. We were given this insulated pot years ago by Alison and only recently, I've started to use it.... and you know what? I used to balk at using it cos it just seems illogical how one can boil soup without flame or electricity. So, wanting to prove myself right, I put that metallic little family pleaser to the test & it made the most beautiful herbal soup! I have no idea how it does it and I'm kicking myself now, asking myself why I didn't use it earlier.

One of our much awaited gatherings, which we have intended to do so for quite a while now, so we took the opportunity to celebrate our dear dear friend's birthday at Ramon's at Willow Pond. The food was pleasant to the eyes, the company was indeed wonderful, the atmosphere was warm albeit cold on the outside.
